Our story

The restaurant La Maison Du Jardin opened its doors in 2001 in the Saint Germain des prés district of Paris 6eme.

 

This chic bistro on the Left Bank is ideally located near the Luxembourg Gardens and its Museum as well as the Senate.

 

It was taken over in 2020 by Jérémy Figuès, who is passionate about gastronomy. This chef apprenticed in the same restaurant in 2002 with Philippe Marquis. 

 

In two years, he has breathed new life into this neighbourhood establishment.

He prepares a menu with traditional dishes reworked with modernity. With his team, he emphasises the use of fresh, seasonal products, giving priority to local producers as much as possible. 

 

The service is discreet and attentive to the customer's needs.

In 2022, he obtained the title of Maître Restaurateur as well as the labels Collège Culinaire de France and Tables et Auberges de France.

Just as good as ever Back for a fourth visit but first in about 6 years. Wonderful friendly reception and service and very comfortable interior. We started with very good gazpacho and curried shrimp. Both excellent. We both a veal dish with large pasta shells filled ratatouille with a Demi glaze sauce. Delicious. Will not wait very long to return.

Wonderful Surprise Upon spending a week in Paris with many reservations made , we walked by the restaurant and found the Menu interesting. The place is lovely. This is a restaurant, not a bistro or brasserie. The dishes are creative and very flavorful. We loved it. On our next visit, we will certainly return. Granted, they were eager to speak English. (My second language is French). They are only trying to Be helpful. Really flavorful!

Lovely restaurant My friends and I enjoyed a meal here and I would highly recommend it. The service was friendly and the dishes came out in a timely manner and were well cooked and flavorful. I started with the tomato gazpacho soup with mozzarella and then had the sea bream. The fish was served with a delicious curry sauce. For dessert I tried the floating island which was also very tasty!

Jardin des saveurs C’est fin, c’est savoureux ! Nous avons passé un moment excellent aussi bien pour les amateurs de poisson que pour ceux qui préfèrent la viande. Des plats travaillés. Service attentionné et souriant. Merci !

Excellent food and service at a reasonable price We had our best dinner during our 3 day Paris stay at this charming little neighbourhood restaurant. The food was delicious, the recommended wine was excellent and the service was friendly and well timed. It was a short walk to Hotel Luxembourg Park where we stayed (and also recommend).

Dining at the best! We have chosen this restaurant for my birthday the past 2 years - it never fails to delight - a truly gourmet dining experience. We always take advantage of the 3 course offering adding on a bottle of wine.
